Mirzapur 2: Why Shweta Tripathi does not want to reprise Golu Gupta's character

Shweta Tripathi Sharma, who revived the role of Gajgamini or Golu Gupta in the websites 'Mirzapur 2', is in great discussion these days. 35-year-old Shweta has worked in films like 'Masaan', 'Haramkhor' but she has stopped speaking with her strong acting in 'Mirzapur' series.

By the way, Shweta is getting a lot of popularity from Golu's character but the actress says that she does not want to reprise this character. Actually, Shweta, who keeps trying something new, does not believe in working in a character. She said the same thing in an interview and said, I have been keen to do such roles in my career which have been different from every character of mine. The repetition reduces the enthusiasm of the audience and they are not surprising.

Shweta further said, 'I did Mirzapur 2' because my character in it was completely different from the first season.

There was a difference of ground-sky between Golu of the first season and Golu of the second season, so I will not do the same role at all. Shweta also praised Divyendu Sharma who played Munna Tripathi in this series and said that she has played her character in the best way. If he gets a chance to play any other role in Mirzapur, then Munna will have many shades.
Shweta further said, I did season 1 of 'Mirzapur' for season 2 because I knew how far the character graph would go. So, this was the best condition of my life, so I took it. I knew Golu. She knew how powerful her character was going to be in season 2. Talking about Shweta's personal life, she did love marriage to rapper Chaitanya Sharma in 2018.
