The makers asked for 4400 crores for the release of James Bond series 'No Time to Die' on OTT

The way of the release of Daniel Craig's last film No Time to Die as James Bond is not clear, due to which the audience may have to wait longer to see this film.

The film was earlier scheduled to be released in April 2020, but due to the corona virus epidemic, its release got stuck due to the lockdown and theaters closed in India and abroad. Given the current circumstances, the film's release has been postponed to April 2021. Meanwhile, the makers are trying to release it on the digital platform, but things are not working out.

According to a Hollywood website report, the makers are demanding $ 600 million, or about Rs 4400 crore, to release the film on the OTT platform. No OTT platform is being agreed to pay such a huge amount, so the attempt to release the film on digital platform also seems to be failing.

According to reports, in the past, the makers interacted with OTT platforms like Netflix, Apple and Amazon. In this, the makers placed a demand of $ 600 million for a one-year contract. No OTT platform was willing to pay even half its price. Due to this, the possibility of digital release of the film is currently postponed.

Let us tell you that this is the fifth film of Daniel Craig as James Bond. He played James Bond for the first time in 2006's Casino Royal. He then appeared in the same role as Quantum of Solas (2008), Skyfall (2012) and Specter (2015). His third Bond movie 'Skyfall' had all the box office success in the UK.

Daniel is so popular in the role of James Bond that he has been paid a fee of Rs 450 crore for working in 'No Time to Die'. By working in this film, Daniel will get such a hefty amount that many Bollywood films do not earn at the box office.
